KADAWA//Joanna Sternberg//Gaya Sings Connie at Threes Brewing

Excited to present a special night of music, these musicians are not something to be missed:

8:00 - Joanna Sternberg Solo

9:00 - KADAWA
In a world where daily life revolves around a screen and a finger, KADAWA gives their audience an ‘offline’ experience worth lifting their heads for.
Born in Israel and based in New York City, the collective-trio of guitarist Tal Yahalom, double bassist Almog Sharvit and drummer Ben Silashi performs original music by all three members, alongside their own interpretations of pieces by David Bowie, Bjork and Ornette Coleman, among others. Drawing inspiration from jazz, rock, cinema and literature to create song-like instrumental compositions driven by mood, sound and improvisation, KADAWA’s music inhabits many different dimensions of a wide musical spectrum.

10:00 - I Have Considered The Lilies - Gaya Sings Connie:

Disappearing in 1974, folk musician and songwriter Connie Converse left behind a unique, wistful and haunting body of work that for many years remained unheard. Gaya found Connie earlier this year, and sat with her songs as they delicately unfolded. Amidst stories and melodies beautifully interwoven, it is an immense pleasure to relive Connie's enigma through Gaya's blooming reimagination.

Gaya Feldheim Schorr - voice, guitar
Grey Mcmurray - guitar, voice
Tal Yahalom - guitar
Eva Lawitts - bass
